I already tried contacting Dropbox and explained what had happened, they said to look in "deleted files." I was able to restore some things, but none of them was the addon package. I had the addon package backed up on Dropbox, but do to some problems I had with them it seems like the file is no longer in the public folder. It's fine if the version is incompatible, that's easily fixed through manifest.ini. nvda-addon file, not the contents of a folder. I put the contents of the Japanese Game Fix folder into: C:\Users\(username)\app data\Roming\nvda\addons\Japanese Game Fix, but when I look in the Addon Store it doesn't say the addon is installed, incompatible or disabled. Do I have to go to the context menu and choose run in Japanese when focused on play.exe every time? Also this is slightly off topic, but I'm having a problem with the Japanese Game Fix addon for NVDA. This only happens if I don't use Locale Emulator, but that's normal. ![]() So, how can I run the games now that I have them installed? If I press enter on play.exe, it says startup failed. I've heard people mention creating profiles or shortcuts for Locale Emulator in other topics. I installed Locale Emulator and found an option called "Run in Japanese", which seems to allow the installers to work. The problem is, how do I use Locale Emulator to play the Japanese games? It doesn't explain how to do it in the guide for playing Japanese games in the articles room. ![]() I decided to set my system locale to English so I could play some of the games that Windows wouldn't work with if I had it in another language.
